COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO : 0 5 — 0 5
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO , 1846
WHEREAS , on Mason County Road No. 70390 , known locally as the North Shore Road ,
and more specifically located in Sec. 27 , T22N, R3W, WM, at the approximate mile posts listed
below ; work defined as " construction " in the BARS Manual, Page II-63, et seq , is determined to be
necessary and proper ; and ,
WHEREAS , this project is identified as # 11 on the officially adopted County Annual Road
Program .
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
that it is their intention to :
Perform preliminary surveying and engineering work
to identify the mechanism causing road shoulder failure at the various locations , develop
repair concepts, prepare required environmental permits for the proposed work, develop
final design plans and specifications , and provide consultation during construction.
Work to be performed at approximate mileposts : 11 . 6 to 11 . 85
SAID WORK is to be performed by design contract in accordance with Washington State Standard
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the described County Road Project is necessary and
proper, and the estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering : $30 ,000
The County Road project herein described in HEREBY DECLARED to be a public
necessity, and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report
and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in accordance with WAC 13648 .
ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 2005.
