A Resolution Creating the Oakland Bay Clean Water District Advisory Committee
WHEREAS,the Mason County Board of County Commissioners established the Oakland Bay
Clean Water District Board of Directors under Resolution No. 48--08 on April 15 , 2008. And
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors may establish an Advisory Committee to meet regularly to
review the water quality work required in the Oakland Bay Clean Water District Action Plan and
to update the Board and make recommendations related to the Oakland Bay Clean Water District
for the Board of Directors to use or not use in passing legislation relating to Oakland Bay and
BE IT RESOLVED,that the Oakland Bay Clean Water District Advisory Committee be created
and consist of up to 22 persons selected as follows:
• One representative of Washington State Department of Health
• One representative of the Puget Sound Partnership
• One representative of Washington State Department of Ecology
• One representative from the Washington State Department of Agriculture
• Three citizens-at-large from the Oakland Bay Clean Water District
• One representative of the Squaxin Island Tribe
• One representative of United States Environmental Protection Agency
• One representative of the City of Shelton
• One representative of WSU Extension Mason County
• One representative of Washington SeaGrant
• One representative of Mason Conservation District
• One representative of Pacific Shellfish Growers
- • Two shellfish growers from the Oakland Bay Clean Water District
• Three representatives from non-shellfish related businesses in the Oakland Bay Clean
Water District
• Three representatives of Mason County Departments
