TO ESTABLISH CIVIL LITIGATION FUND (112-000-000)
WHEREAS, RCW 36.32.120 states ". the board of county commissioners...have
the care of the county property and the management of the county funds and business."
WHEREAS, the Mason County Prosecutor has a need for a special reserve fund to
accumulate revenue and to pay extraordinary costs of defending Mason County in civil litigation;
NOW THEREFORE, the Mason County Board of County Commissioners does hereby
establish the Civil Litigation Fund (112-000-000) to receive revenues and pay civil litigation
costs incurred by the Mason County Prosecutor.
IT IS FURTHER ESTABLISHED THAT the Director of Budget & Finance will
administer this fund and pay proper expenses from this fund as approved by the Mason County
Prosecutor and the Mason County Board of County Commissioners.
