2006 BUDGET
Supplementall 4pprroprrfation/Budget Transfer Notice of Hearrbng
WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of making the
budget for the year 2006, it is necessary to make provision for a supplemental appropriation and a budget
transfer to the Current Fund Budget as authorized by RCW 36.40.100 and RCW 36.40.195.
A transfer from the Current Expense Ending Fund Balance will be used to add a Program Manager II
and a Parks Maintenance I position in the Parks & Trails Department, and to budget an unanticipated excess
compensation benefit (balloon) payment to the State Retirement System in Superior Court.
An award of Lodging Tax (Hotel/Motel Tax) revenue will be used to fund the ''ourism Promotion
Program in the Fairgrounds/Convention Center Department.
TFEREFORE, BIK _'1L' RESOIT,V]ED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners:
That the 21 st of February 2006 at the hour of 9:30 AM in be Mason County Commissioners Chambers
in Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for
a public hearing upon the matter of a supplemental appropriation/budget transfer to the 2006 Budget for the:
