Rogers, Clerk of e •' oard APPROVED A di Monty -4 L J i\\/s �vll Depu ' 'ssecuth g Attorney Attachment "A" Environmental Health Fees for 2008 The fees contained in this fee schedule shall be automatically adjusted each January 1 by the percentage increases, if any, in the June Consumer Price Index for the previous year, with a maximum increase of 3.5%. If the automatic fee adjustment would cause any fee to exceed the cost of providing services, that fee will only be increased to the dollar amount corresponding to the actual cost of providing the services. "Consumer Price Index for the purposes of this section shall mean the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPIU) for metropolitan Olympia. Prior to setting fees for the year 2009, this fee schedule and the adjustment mechanisms shall be evaluated by the department and the Board of Health including input from stakeholders. Note: Any work that requires a permit from Environmental Health being done without a permit will be subject to a penalty of a double permit fee and additional inspection fees where applicable.
