WHEREAS, ROW 36.32.120 states "the board of county commissioners have the care of the
county property and the management of the county funds and business"
WEAK EAS9 the Washington State Auditor's Office, in their >udgeting Accounting Reporting
System (EARS), allows the board of county commissioners to establish a revolving fund to provide
immediate payment of premiums, casual labor and the many other items needed during the period the fair is
being conducted without going through the formality of a warrant issue.
WHEREAS, the =Taft Manager and the 'lair Staff agree to comply with the requirements for the
establishment and operation of a fair revolving fund as set forth in the 1ARS manua;.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Mason County Commissioners, that
a 7-Taft Revolving Account for the payment of fair premiums, casual labor and the many other items needed
during the period of the fair be established in the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000).
