R.ES II ILTJ' ENVII AO:VW: ON NO. l (c N TAL HEAff ,TH FEES WHEREAS, the provision of public health services and activities within Mason County requires the collection of fees to compliment other sources of revenue, W ! ERE S, it is the role and responsibility of Mason County Board of County Commissioners to set policy for Mason County Public -Health concerning the funding of public health programs and activities in Mason County and to set fees accordingly, WHERE S, a public hearing was held as part of the Mason County Board oy Liealth meeting on Decembe: 23, 2008 for the purpose of taking public testimony and to deliberate on the apprpriate fees for public health goods and services, and WH J Mason County AS, the proposed Environmental Health Fees for 2009 were approved by the oard of Health on December 23, 2008, N•W HEREFORE, T it S EST s. HASHED THAT Mason County Public Health, Environmental Health Fees are amended for 2009 as shown in Attachment A, effective January 1, 2009. T 1ES IFUR7} R 7,S' AB JLSII hD THAT Mason County Public Health, (Environmental Health, Fees will be increased each year after 2008 by the amount of the July to July Consumer Price Index (CPI U) for the Olympia Metropolitan Area with a maximum increase • f 3.5%. Prior to setting fees for the year 2009, this fee schedule and the adjustment mechanisms were evaluated by the department and the Board of Health including input from stakeholders as set in Resolution No.123-07, Environmental Health Fees 2008.
