REDUCTION. NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of
adopting the budget for the year 2010, it is necessary to make provision for budget transfers,
supplemental appropriations and budget reductions to the budget as required by RCW 36.40,100,
and RCW 36,40.195 for the following:. $2,500 Budget Transfer to Civil Service from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance for a
Correction Officer register.o $18,200 Budget Transfer to the Board of Equalization from Current Expense Ending Fund
Balance to cover additional costs due to increased requests to re-evaluate property values.o $40,000 Supplemental Appropriation to Public Health Administration from a Public Health
Emergency Preparedness Pandemic Flu grant.. $60,000 Supplemental Appropriation to Community and Family Health from an Office of the
Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Pandemic Flu Alternate Care Facility
grant.
Budget reductions for the following departments to fund potential labor contract costs:o $L9,449 budget reduction to Current Expense/Assessor.. $31,335 budget reduction to Current Expense/Community Development.o $16,208 budget reduction to Current Expense/Facilities & Grounds,o $8,644 budget reduction to Current Expense/Parks & Trails.. $28,093 budget reduction to Current Expense/Public Health.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of Mason County Commissioners:
That the 14th day of September, 2010 at the hour of 9:30 a,m, in the Mason County
Commissioners Chambers in Courthouse Building I, 4tt North Fifth Street, Shelton,
Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of
budget transfers and supplemental appropriations to the 2010 Budget as follows:. 001-060-000 Civil Seruice $2,500o 001-040-000 Board of Equalization $18,200. 150 100 000 Health Administration $40,000. 150 200 000 Community and Family Health $60,000
Budget Reductions to:. 001-020-000 Assessor #19,449. 001-125-000 Community Development $31,335. 001-055-000 Facilities & Grounds $16,208. 001-146-000 Parks & Trails $8,644. 001-310-000 Public Health $28,093
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to cause
notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law.
