PhS-k A resolution amending Resolution No. 85-01 establishing the County Commissioners' salaries WHEREAS, the Washington State Constitution precludes any change mid -ter Commissioner positions; for County VVHEREAS, Commissioner Districts 1 and 2 will begin new terms in 2013 and the Commissioners wish to establish the 2013 salaries for Commissioner Districts 1 and 2 at the same level as 2012, $78,367, and change the annual increase to 1 %, rather than the 3% annual increase that was established in Resolution 85-01; WHEREAS, the Commissioners wish to set the Commissioner District \o. 3 salary at the same amount as Commissioner District No. 1 and 2 at the beginning of the new term for District 3; WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 85-01, the Commissioner District 3 salary for 2013 shall be S80,718 and the 201/1 salary shall be 583,140; NOVV, -� Hr ErO E, BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2013 salaries for Commissioner Districts 1 and 2 shall be $78,367, and starting in January 2014 and each year thereafter, a 1% annual increase shall be implemented, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, beginning January 1, 20'15, the Commissioner District No. 3 salary shall be set at the same amount as Commissioner District No. 1 and 2 Dated this 23rd day of October 2012.
