WHEREAS, Mason County owns real property described as a portion of the Southwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter, Section 20, Township 20 North, Range 3 West, W.M., said property being more
fully described in Exhibit A, attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the property is tax title property, having been foreclosed upon on January 3, 1984; and
WHEREAS, a total amount of $59.13 is owing in delinquent property tax, expenses and
assessments; and
WHEREAS, Mason County has received an offer to purchase the property for the amount of
$222.13, from Charles E. Boettger and Deborah J. Weil; and
WHEREAS, the property has no value to anyone other than the named purchasers due to its small
size and location, having previously been a portion of the lot owned by them and now being fenced in and
included as part of their property for many years; and
WHEREAS, the Mason County Treasurer and Property Manager recommend the sale to Charles E.
Boettger and Deborah J. Weil, on the basis that it is in the best interest of the County and will relieve the
County of any liabilities associated with ownership of unusable property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE DT RESOLVED by the Mason County Board of Commissioners that the
real property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, is declared surplus property and that a sale of said
property to Charles E. Boettger and Deborah J. Weil, at a price of $222.13, is approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceeds of the sale shall be dedicated first to delinquent
taxes, expenses of foreclosure and assessments, if any, and then to recording costs and costs incurred by
the Road Fund in processing the sale; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Property Manager is authorized to sign the related Bid Form
and Purchase and Sale Agreement and the Treasurer is authorized to sign the County Treasurer's Deed.

according to the recorded plat thereof in the office of the Auditor for said County and State, Volume 2 of
Plats, page 39. Also known as (Hillcrest E 32' of S 15', Lot 8, Block 15), situate in Mason County,
