WHEREAS, RCW 36.70Ae390 requires that a public hearing be held within sixty (60) days of the
adoption of this moratorium; and
NOW TI IEREFORE BE IT IEREBY ORDAINED, that the Board of Commissioners of
Mason County hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Moratorium Enacted. Pursuant to the provisions oRCW 36.70A.390, a zoning
moratorUUm is hereby enacted in Mason Coun:y prohibiting the prodbction and processing of
nrarUuana, as LiBowed ud nder RCW 69e5C (as amended) Chapter 314-55 WAC, in all zoning
districts with the exception of Agricu tura Resource Lands and Dndustria By zoned districts
effective from the date of this Ordinance.
