RESOLUTION NO. AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 56-15 TO REVISE THE NON -REPRESENTED SALARY SCALE RANGE ALIGNEMENT BY ESTABLISHING A SALARY RANGE 46, CREATING A COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT BY MERGING PUBLIC HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, CREATE COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR AT RANGE 46 WHEREAS, RCW 36.16.070 states that ... In all cases where the duties of any county office are greater than can be performed by the person elected to fill it, the officer may employ deputies and other necessary employees with the consent of the board of county commissioners. The board shall fix their compensation ... WHEREAS, a Non -Represented Salary Plan was established for those employees not represented by a bargaining unit — Attachment A; WHEREAS, it is determined that it is in the best interest of the county to create a Community Services Department by merging Public Health & Human Services and Community Development; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby revise the Non -Represented Salary Scale Range Alignment establishing a Salary Range 46, create a Community Services Department and place the Community Services Director at Salary Range 46.
