SS__-17 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MASON COUNTY CODE TITLE 6, SANITARY CODE, CHAPTER. 6.72, SOLID WASTE AND BIOSOLIDS HANDLING AND FACILITY REGULATIONS, AMENDING SECTION 6.72.010 (b) AN ORDINANCE, amending Title 6, Chapter 6.72 ; Solid Waste and Biosolids Handling and Facility Regulations, Section 6.72.010 (b), Authority and Purpose. WHEREAS, the amendments of the Mason County Code clarify the responsibility for regulating solid waste and biosolid handling and facility activities within Mason County, pursuant to RCW 70 .95; WHEREAS, the amendments acknowledges that evaluations of these activities conforming to the approved Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan, per WAC 173-350-710. WHEREAS, the Mason County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing regarding the proposed amendments on September 26, 2017. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this Ordinance amends those portions ofOrdiance 107- 05 pertaining to Chapter 6.72, Section 6.72.010 (b); NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDAINED, that the Board of Commissioners of Mason County hereby approves and adopts the amendments to Mason County Code Title 6 (Sanitary Code) revising Chapter 6 .72, Section 6.72 .010 (b) as described by Attachement A.
