Dear Mr.Nasto,
Envirotech Engineering(Envirotech) completed a site visit to the referenced address on August 10, 2015
in order to assess the placement of a proposed modular block retaining wall system that will protect soil
from covering sewage tank ports. Envirotech understands that the modular blocks will have interlocking
components, such as a lip, etc.., at least 300 lb per module, and the system will be no more than 5 feet in
height.
Due to the close proximity of the existing residence, we analyzed the influence of the retaining wall
system and house. It is planned to construct the wall face at a distance of 12 feet from the residence. If
necessary,this distance may be decreased to no less than 10 feet.
It is concluded that the above mentioned retaining wall system is adequate for retaining the on-site sandy
soils, and is acceptable with respect to our original geological assessment prepared on February 24, 2014
for this property.
