Truss Review
To Whom It May Concern:
At the request of the Design Professional in Responsible Charge, I have provided the.
lateral load engineering for the Plan D-125, being built by Eric Gale, located at 6440
Northeast Elfendahl Pass Road. Gravity load engineering, including sizing the
foundation, was completed by the Design Professional in Responsible Charge (IBC
107.3.4).
As requested on my original lateral load engineering the builder has provided Hodge
Engineering the final truss designs completed by Peninsula Truss Job number 29947.
The trusses as designed do not adversely affect my original lateral load engineering.

This,report"is the professional"opinion of the Engineer and regards his engineering and the impact to that engineering
only. This report is_hot intended to allow the builder to disregard Code requirements, change contracts with the
owner,or perform work outside the approved permit. Any schedule or cost impact is the responsibility of the builder
and/or owner. This report does,not allow changes to the approved plans-it addresses the impact of the proposed
alternate methods to the engineering only. The Building Inspector, not the engineer, has the authority to allow field
changes,alternate methods,and fixes to the approved plans. The engineer provides an opinion only and not the
authority.
