This is provided that the entire length of the walls (minus openings) are fully paneled and nailed as shear walls; • For the upper story walls, nail spacing for shear may be reduced to 6 inches in lieu of the designed 2 inches. I do not seem to have a copy of that document. I believe that document stated the requirement to have a licensed surveyor set the concrete slab height (elevation)to comply with FEMA regulations. I need a copy of the document I signed and specifically for tomorrow I need the requirement for the surveyor to set the slab elevation.
