All testing procedures will be per the 2018 WSDOT Standard Specifications. This includes laboratory testing for materials such as aggregates and field testing for in-place materials such as asphalt and base compaction. The Owner will have an independent testing consultant that will complete all testing for the project. In addition, the Contractor will be required to complete testing as needed to ensure compliance. The following are items which will be tested during construction of this project: Earthwork: • Import Fill Material (sampling, testing, classification & compacted density). • Subgrade Verification (Inspection by geotech of record, compaction via testing or proof rolling). Erosion Control and Site Stabilization • Erosion control measures will be inspected daily by the Contractor and during field visits by the Project Engineer. • All disturbed areas shall be seeded. Seeding operations will be inspected by the Project Engineer. Site stabilization will be evaluated by the Project Engineer. In addition an infiltration facility will be constructed to infiltrate 100% of the stormwater to meet County requirements.
