RESOLUTION NO. -- -
Annual Construction Program
WHEREAS, Chapter 136-16 WAC, sets forth the procedures for the adoption of
the Annual Construction Program; and,
WHEREAS, in compliance therewith, the Board of County Commissioners has
held a public hearing on the Annual Construction Program this 3rd day of November,
2020.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County
Commissioners, in regular session assembled, that the attached Annual Construction
Program for 2021 be adopted as set forth in detail, which are incorporated and made part
of this Resolution.
ADOPTED this day of 2020.

SUBJECT: 6-Year Transportation Improvement Program—
TIP-CAP Review and Recommendations
Dear Board of Mason County Commissioners,
Resolution No. 53-14 sets forth TIP-CAP's goal "...to make transportation improvement investment
recommendations...that strive to balance community priorities,county future land-use planning,safety
and financial constraints". TIP-CAP is pleased to offer our recommendations for the 2021—2026 6-Year
Transportation Improvement Program with this letter.
On October 14, 2020 we voted to recommend approval of the 2021 Annual Construction Program and
6-Year TIP for years 2021—2026(attached)with the following revisions:
• Remove Priority 24(Allyn Access Circulation ROW Acquisition)from the Annual Construction
Program and 6-Year TIP and replace it with Priority 27 (Trails Road Alternate Route—Rasor
Road).
• Move John's Prairie/SR3 intersection study onto the Annual Construction Program and 6-Year
priority array.
We also voted to recommend reducing the$2.16 million diversion for traffic policing by 10%. Example
projects that could be advanced with the$216,000 are intersection safety improvements, clear zone
projects, and more gravel road upgrades.
