Call Meeting to Order: 5:0o PM
Roll Call: Danielle Skeeters-Lindsey Vice Chair, B. Dean Byrd, Chief Examiner Meghan
Andrews, Chief Tami Beyer, Becky Rogers.Absent: Brian Kelly, Chair.
Business:
A. Approval of Minutes: B. Dean Byrd moved to approve the meeting minutes from
June 15, 2017 and July 20, 2017, Danielle Skeeters-Lindsey seconded that
motion.
B. Chief Examiner Update
a. Chief Examiner stated the only current vacancy is the promotional Patrol
Corporal.
b. Chief Examiner stated that the Patrol Corporal testing is complete and the
Sheriff's Office has the eligibility list.
c. The current status of the public records request from Steve Van Denover is
still ongoing and he has received four(4) installments so far.
C. Sheriff's Office Update
a. Chief Beyer announced there may be a voluntary demotion from a current
Corporal to Corrections Deputy.
b. Chief Beyer was asked by Undersheriff Barrett to notify the Civil Service
Commissioners that some of the staff with the Sheriff's Office are currently
looking for employment with other agencies because of the budget cuts and
that they want something more stable.
