Subject: Asamblea de Dios Future Basement Layout Code Review
Dear Rich:
Below is an outline of the Future Basement Layout Code Review for Asamblea de Dios. Existing finished areas
approved with the initial building permit were evaluated with the 2012 International Building Code and are
specified as such. All proposed finished areas for the Future Basement are now evaluated with the 2015
International Building Code and all new construction is to comply with the most current adopted codes by
Mason County. Please reference the attached Plan as directed.
Areas
Existing Main Level 6,196 sf
Existing Basement- Finished 1,650 sf
Future Basement- Finished 4,340 sf
Total Area 12,186 sf
Chapter 3
Proposed occupancy: A-3, based on uses shown with educational rooms as Accessories to Places
of Worship with occupancies less than 100 per room (303.1.4)
Chapter 5
Area allowed: Type V-B, total area allowed with area modifications (2012 IBC Table 503)
