Call to Order—The Chairperson called the regular meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance — Darrin Holland led the flag salute. 3. Roll Call — Present: Commissioner District 1 - Randy Neatherlin; Commissioner District 2— Kevin Shutty; Commissioner District 3 —Terri Drexler. 4. Correspondence and Organizational Business 4.1 Correspondence 4.1.1 Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board sent a liquor license application for Hoodsport Hamburger and Deli 24311 North US Highway 101, Hoodsport. 4.1.2 Wave Broadband sent notice of rate adjustment starting September 6, 2018. 4.1.3 Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board sent a marijuana license application for Cannabis CO-OP 442 Southeast State Route 3, Shelton. 4.1.4 State of Washington Department of Ecology sent notice regarding evaluation results for the Mason County Unincorporated Shelton Urban Growth Area for coverage under Western Washington National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit. 4.1.5 Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board sent notification of pending marijuana extraction operation for Suspended Brands located at 860 Northeast Old Belfair Highway, Belfair. 4.2 (moved to section 9) 5. Open Forum for Citizen Input— No comments. 6. Adoption of Agenda - Cmmr. Shutty/Drexler moved and seconded to adopt the agenda with an amendment moving item 4.2 to 9.1. Motion carried unanimously. N-aye; S-aye; D- aye. 7. Approval of Minutes- None 8. Approval of Action Agenda: 8.1 Approval to increase the Crimeshield Policy to include the following coverages: Depositors Forgery or Alteration with a $50,000 limit/$500 deductible, Theft, Disappearance & Destruction $50,000 limit/$500 deductible, Computer and Funds Transfer Fraud $500,000/$5,000 deductible, and Money Orders & Counterfeit Currency $50,000 limit/ $500 deductible with an annual increase in premium of$320, and approval to authorize the Chair to sign policy forms, if necessary. 8.2 Approval of a Private Line Occupancy Permit granting permission to run a septic transport line and power under E. Mason Lake Drive West for parcel 22105-51-00028. 8.3 Approval of a Private Line Occupancy Permit granting permission to run a septic transport line and power under the North Shore Road for parcel 32220-50-03313. 8.4 Approval to award the Rustlewood and Beards Cove Water Meter Project to Oceanside Construction, Inc. and authorize the Deputy Director/Utilities and Waste Management to sign the contract agreement on behalf of Mason County. 8.5 Approval to name the Public Works County Engineer as the authorized representative named on the Recreation and Conservation Office Application Resolution/Authorization for County Road Projects 2014 and 2015. 8.6 Approval of Warrants &Treasure Electronic Remittances BOARD OF MASON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS August 14, 2018 - PAGE 2 Claims Clearing Fund Warrant #s $ Direct Deposit Fund Warrant #s 51982-52354 $ 668,135.52 Salary Clearing Fund Warrant #s 7003806-7003843 $ 918,003.40 8.7 Approval to reappoint Marilyn Vogler to the Mason County Planning Advisory Commission for a term ending January 31, 2022. 8.8 Approval of contract HCA 1763-94262 between Washington State Health Care Authority and Mason County Public Health. 8.9 Approval to set a public hearing on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. to consider four rezone requests and one map correction for parcels 42002-10-00020, 32031-14-00010,32232-55-00040,32332-55-00041, and 12329-12-90011. Cmmr. Drexler/Shutty moved and seconded to approve action items 8.1 through 8.9. Motion carried unanimously. N-aye; S-aye; D-aye. 9. Other Business (Department Heads and Elected Officials) 9.1 Staff recognition for Ben Ramsfield Staff: Ross McDowell 10. 9:30 a.m. Public Hearings and Items set for a certain time— None 11. Board's Reports and Calendar-The Commissioners reported on meetings attended the past week and announced their upcoming weekly meetings. 12.
