After due diligence was exercised in the investigation of
this structure, it was found that no regulated
asbestos containing materials were attached to this structure.

005. Site Specification:
This EPA Certified AHERA Building Inspection has been
authorized by Patsy Bixenmann for this old barn located at:
the corner of Old Belfair Highway and McKnight Road, in Belfair,
WA 98528 in Mason County.
The on-site inspection was completed on March 13, 2018.
Characteristics of this structure included half poured concrete
floor and the other half was dirt; wood framed with a very old
composition roofing; concrete foundation, wood siding on exterior.
The owner estimates its age at 60-70 years.
It measured 20X80'. It is scheduled for demolition in the near
future.
These 2 suspect building materials were collected:
• Roofing
• Window putty(4 windows measuring about 4'X4')
The suspect materials were collected wet, and sealed into 2mil poly lab
pouches and were shipped by Priority Mail to our preferred asbestos-specific
NVLAP laboratory for analysis using Polarized Light Microscopy.
"Suspect Material" is defined as any building material that has ever been
documented as containing asbestos fibers or materials that closely resemble
those that have.
The base amount of asbestos that is regulated is more than one percent.
This manufactured residential unit is slated for demolition.
The result of the findings from this effort revealed: No Asbestos Containing
Materials attached to this building.
This report was prepared for the exclusive use of Ms Bixenmann and her agents
or representatives for specific application to this site. If new information is
developed through excavations,borings or other studies,this inspector should be
retained to re-evaluate the conclusions of this report and provide amendments as
needed.

006. Summary:
The local Clean Air Agencies require a 10 day wait prior to asbestos abatement
of a commercial or other than owner-occupied structures; and requires the 10 day wait
for all demolitions. Washington State Department of Labor and Industries also require
Notification prior to commencing any abatement activities.
These two agencies require at least 10 days notice prior to beginning any
demolition.
We suggest you retain this document for as long as you own this property(or
hold contract to work on it) to verify your compliance to the asbestos standards in place
at this time.
