PRE-APPLICATION CONFERENCE REQUEST FORM -�
The purpose of the pre-submission conference is to identify and/or eliminate as many potential problems as
possible in order for the project to be processed without delay. Representatives for the Fire Marshal's Office, Building
Department, Environmental Health, Planning, and Public Works Departments may attend the meeting to discuss rules
and regulations applicable to the proposed project. Topics covered during the meeting will include the comprehensive
plan, shoreline program, zoning, availability of sewer and potable water, development concepts, building construction,
fire protection and life safety concerns of the proposed project. The pre-submission conference will be most informative
when you provide accurate and detailed information on the Pre-Application Conference Application Form and the site
plan. Applications will be accepted when all information is received and deemed complete.
Pre-Application Conferences are held every Wednesday and last up to one hour. To schedule a meeting
complete the applications and return with 10 copies of the detailed site plan, by_3:00 PM oP the Wednesdav two weeks
prior to the Proposed meeting.

Height limit of 35 feet; setback from road or property lines is 15 feet to structure projections.
Maximum building heights in the district are three stories. Substantial landscaping buffers are
required for those properties adjacent to SR-3. Business-Industrial properties are exempted from
most other site planning and building design guidelines to maximize flexibility for the uses.
Owner/ applicant seeks to construct a dry storage building on a property with an
existing industrial business use. Building is proposed away from Katchemak Rd. in an
area for existing vehicle parking. A site plan with defined parking for employees and
business vehicles and the building / storage use areas should be included with the
permit reviews.
No indication of existing stormwater facilities is shown on submitted sketch. Addition or
modification of the stormwater features on the property to include the new roof areas of
the building shall meet the Dept. of Ecology 2005 Stormwater Manual standards (site in
the Belfair UGA). This may be as simple as A) preparing a stormwater site plan with the
needed changes for stormwater treatment in the existing or expanded stomwater pond,
submitting the site plan with the building permit; or B) when additional areas are
disturbed as well, an engineered erosion & sediment control plan with submittal
