From Figure 3"Stability charts for uniform slopes"the following parameters are known for Hoodsport gravelly sandy
loam(GW SW SM):
c(cohesion)=200 psf,gamma(insitu unit density)=142 pcf,H(height of slope)=50 ik
phi(internal friction angle)=39 deg, then
d[garmna x H x tan(phi)]=200/(142 x 50 x tan 39)=0.0348
Then for a 41.99 deg(90%)slope from Fig.3:
FSAan(phi)=FS/tan(39)=1.95 or, FS=Factor of Safety Against Sliding= 1.5791>1.5000 OKAY

Then for a 41.99 deg slope(900/6 slope)from Fig.4 for a quasi-static analysis went of 0.1:
FAan(39)=1.80 or FS=Factor of Safety=1.4576,
IFor a quasi-static analysis coefficient of 0.2:
F/tan(39)=1.35 or FS=Factor of Safety=1.0932
As a result,for a quasi static analysis coefficient of 0.15,the Factar.of Safe r FS=(1.4576+1.0932)/2=1,2154.>.1..1.00.AKAY
