Notice
The receipt of this notice shall constitute service regarding notification of violations of
the Mason County Code, and shall also serve as Warning Notice pursuant to Mason
County Code, Title 15, Section 15.13.035. The violation(s) are occurring at the
following property:
Enforcement Case No.: BCC2007-00138
Parcel No.. 420122200170
Site Address: 11880 N US HIGHWAY 101 SHELTON
In response to a complaint received by this office, staff from Mason County
investigated the above site and found that windows had been replaced, new
siding added and possible interior remodel being done without the required
development permits. As a result of that inspection, a Stop Work Notice was
posted on July 18, 2007.

According to the Mason County Assessor records, parties named above hold legal
interest in the parcel and are therefore subject to enforcement action for failure to
comply.
The parties shall respond to the county within twenty days of the postmark,
posting on site, or delivery of the notice.
Records indicate that this enforcement issue has not been resolved and is
outstanding at this time.
Order
YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED to abate violations in the following manner:
1) Obtain all required After-the-Fact development permits and inspections prior to
August 15, 2007. Until all required permits have been issued, all exterior and interior
work must cease immediately.
2) We request that a full inspection be allowed on the interior of building as we
suspect that illegal remodeling work has been done.
The septic system at this address has a failing septic system and water system was
posted in 2003 due to nitrate levels in excess of state standards. The system
appears to be out of compliance with state and local regulations and cannot be used
as commercial until this issue has been corrected.
I am aware that you came in to our Shelton office the week of July 23, 2007 to
inquire about the notice and what steps are needed to come in to compliance. If you
have any questions on the permit process, please contact our permit center at (360)
426-9670 ext. 352.
Penalties
This notice is to inform you that in the event that you fail to comply, we will pursue
additional enforcement action against you, including but not limited to recording
against the parcel, civil infractions, liens against the property through the Mason
County Hearings Examiner process and/or criminal prosecution as allowed under
Title 15.13 of the Mason County Code.
Note that the removal, mutilation, destruction or concealment of any Notice posted
on 7/18/2007 would be deemed a separate violation of Title 14.
