Christopherson Phone: (206) 479-4200 SR 300 MP 1.98 Left,Vicinity Road Approach Request Application No. M92-005 -�;ev Dear Mr. Christopherson: 50-- At this time we are unable to grant your request for a permit to construct a road approach to serve a gravel pit operation at the above mentioned location. We anticipate granting you a Type "D" commercial road approach permit, however, we must first review any proposed commercial development through the Mason County Planning Department. The County, after receiving the plan for a proposed development such as yours, will send us a copy of these plans to review such factors as access and drainage concerns which may affect the state's transportation system. We then submit back to the county our recommendations and requirements far the specific project. When the development review for your proposal has been completed through the County, -we will then proceed with your request for a road approach permit. To help you expedite this process, please include in your submittal to the County a ,site plan showing ,the relationship of the road approach to the rest of your property,, The road approach permit must be in the name of the property owner where the approach will be located. No work is authorized on the approach un a permit has been granted and fully executed by both the Department and the property owner. We will hold your application in abeyance until you have submitted your plans to the County and the joint review has been accomplished. Thank you for the opportunity to review this proposal.
