The proposed project in Mason County is located on SR 110 between mileposts 0.02 and 11.09, adjacent to the Case Inlet between Section 9, Township 22 North, Range 01 West, and Section 28, Township 22 North, Range 01 West Willamette Meridian. This project will improve motorist safety by adding centerline rumble strips (9" wide by 3/8" deep) and recessed pavement markers, but does not include bridges or major intersections. All work for the proposed project will occur within existing WSDOT right of way with no excavation or aquatic impacts. The project will be constructed in September of 2009 with stimulus funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act(ARRA) of 2009. In compliance with Shoreline Management Act and the Mason County Shoreline Master Program, this project will not interfere with the normal public use of the shorelines or adversely affect the environment. If you have any questions or need any more information, contact Virginia Stone(509) 577-1692 ext. 2, at the South Central Region Environmental Office. Sincerely, JASON W.
