The applicant intends to take the fill from Norbert VanDam's property and spread it across three seperate upland parcels near Grapeview Loop Road. There are currently horses being kept and a bam near the areas to be filled. The drainage flows toward Grapeview Loop Road from here. There do not appear to be environmental impacts anticipated from the proposal and staff has approved it for the location. The applicant has stated that they will keep the fill under the amount that would require a land modification permit per lot. Please contact the Building Department for additional information regarding construction of a horse arena or similar structures on landfill. It is staffs understanding that the fill is currently being moved and there may be issues regarding compaction that you will need to address in order to build a structure in the future. Thank you.
