Requirements for Special Use Permit Application
Dear Allan,
Last Tuesday,August 10,2004,I met with representatives from the Grapeview Community Club to accept
their Special Use Permit Application.The proposal is an addition to the Grapeview Fire House for use by
the Community Club for meetings,etc..You were busy with interviews so I explained to them that I would
take their applications and run them by you for your comments regarding stormwater.So please review the
proposal and let me know,in writing if possible please,what they need to do to meet the requirements.I
will be back on Wednesday so anytime after that would be good.Thank you.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR
SPECIAL USE PERMIT AND
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Grapeview Community Club who is applicant has Sled an application for a
Special Use Permit for the development of:
Expansion of the existing Grapeview Fire Department building to include new facilities for the
Grapeview Community Center.The intent of the proposed Grapeview Community Center is to provide a
meeting place for various community groups and for community projects.
Site Address and Project Location:Mason County Fire Protection District#3,4350 E Grapeview Loop
Road,Grapeview.Parcel No. 12108-21-90043.
Date of Application:July 28,2004.A decision on this application will be made within 120 days.The
proposed development is reviewed as a Special Use Permit under Section 1.05.040 of the Mason County
Development Regulations.
A Public Hearing will be held by the Hearings Examiner on the proposed project on Tuesday,September
28,2004 at 1:00 PM within the Commissioners Chambers Bldg I,411 North Fifth Street,Shelton.If special
accommodations are needed contact the Commissioners Office,(360)427-9670,ext 419.
Any person wishing to express their views or to be notified of the action taken on the application should
express their views or interest at the public hearing on 9/28/04 OR in writing by 9/16/04 to Planning Dept.,
