RE: Fire District 3 Special Use Permit DDr2003-00004
Dear Grant:
If I remember from the brief conversation we had as you were literally leaving town just
over a week ago, you should have returned from the Southwest by now. This letter is to
verify the status of the Fire District 3 Special Use Permit application, and to inform you
of some recent and upcoming changes in the planning department.
Our newest senior planner is Diane Marcus-Jones. She comes to us with extensive
planning experience, including from Pierce County—we are lucky to have her. She will
be taking over my current planning area, which includes Grapeview, and the Fire District
3 emergency services Special Use Permit project. Starting April 1, 1 will be moving over
to the Environmental Health department, to work on water resource protection issues.
Do you know if the necessary Boundary Line Adjustment was completed for this
project? Last time we checked you were going to discuss (with Fire Dist?). Please let
Diane know when you contact her.
Both Diane and I want to make this change as seamless as possible for the people we
