RE: Grapeview Fire Station Water System
Dear Sir or Madam:
"Some of the information requested for design approval has been received however approval can
not be given at this time. Before the water system design can be further reviewed the ownership
of the two properties that will be served by the system needs to be clarified. According to the
Mason County Assessor's records the fire district owns parcel 12108-21-60041 and 12108-21-
90043 is owned by Mason County. When the fire district proposed the project they listed
themselves as owners of both properties.
Please inform me which is in error,the parcel numbers or the ownership. If the parcel numbers
given in the design are incorrect I will give you a list of corrections to make to the design. If the
parcels really are owned by two different property owners that is more difficult to deal with. I
have discussed your case with the fire marshal,Dave Salzer,and with Debbie Riley,
environmental health manager. They both feel that another pre-application meeting would be
needed. At the meeting anything that would change because of the new property ownership
information can be gone over.
I am putting the waiver request and the design review on hold until the ownership of the
properties is clarified."
Stephanie Kenny sent this letter to the system in February of 2001.The building permit for
your breezeway cannot be approved until this matter has been addressed.If you have any
