Your water system is now classified as a Group B unless the population or connections reach a Group A status according to WAC 246-290. Minimum sampling requirements for Group B public water systems are one sample per year for bacteriological water quality and one sample per source every three years for nitrate unless notified by the county otherwise. The county health department now regulates your system. Please contact your local health department if you have any questions. Any other sampling requirements that were implemented under Washington State Department of Health's Group A public water system program no longer apply to your water system at this time.
