Dear Ms.Miller: McCUS
We have received your request for review of the above proposal and offer the following comments:
The proposed access must be constructed to Department standards. We have sent the applicant
a commercial approach plate for their reference use.
The applicant has also been provided with a permit application form and instructional letter which
should be submitted to our office. A plan which clearly shows the exact location of the proposed
access should be provided. Details of road approach construction will be determined during the
permit application process.
The Department requests the opportunity to review and comment on the drainage plans and
calculations for this proposal. Additional surface water runoff generated by development of the
property must not be directed toward the State highway right-of-way.
i
The Department will not be responsible for noise attenuation if the subject property experiences
noise levels in excess of the maximum allowed for the land use.
i
Advertising signs visible from an adjacent State highway must comply with the State Scenic Vistas
Act of 1971,which is administered by the Department. For information regarding the signing
i
regulations, contact Jack Smith in the District 3 Traffic Operations office at 753-7220.
If you have any questions in response to our review comments, please contact Ed Sharp at 753-1901.
