Pat McCullough, P.E.,has delivered a revised plan sheet(sheet#2 of 3)and revised stormwater
runoff calculations for Kurt Olson's proposed"Precast Concrete Plant"to be located off of the
Log Sort Road near Belfair. Plan sheets 1 and 3 did not need any changes, so plan sheets 2& 3
you already have are acceptable.
Attached please find 2 copies of plan sheet#2, as well as a copy of the revised stormwater runoff
analysis/calculations.
Mr. McCullough has developed the revised stormwater plan to provide additional treatment to
stormwater runoff emanating from the plant's concrete forming and casting areas. With the plan
revisions, the proposed stormwater control plan is satisfactory to both the County, and to
Ecology. I am working with Pat on finishing the O&M Covenant requirements, but do not feel
the Covenant issue should not hold up development of the site.
With the attached revised stormwater plan sheet satisfying both Ecology and County
requirements, it would be appropriate to issue the grading permit so that the stormwater
management features may be constructed, and P/W's final inspection and acceptance of the
completed facilities may be advanced. Plan sheet 3 contains Erosion and Sediment(E&S)
Control features which should be incorporated into the project's execution. Some time early in
the grading process,P/W requests notification so that the adequacy of the installed E&S
measures may be inspected and verified.
