Reinforcing Steel
Notes: It has come to my attention that the placement of the #6 "U" bars can be
used to support the top ring of circumferential bars better during rebar placement if
they are placed under the circumferential gars as opposed to over the circumferential
bars as my drawing shows. For my structural purposes,this is an acceptable detail.
Care should be taken to maintain a minimum of 2" of concrete between the
reinforcing and the top of the concrete.If you need any clarification, feel free to give me a call at 360-299-2122.
