NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXECUTE A PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENT
ON PARCEL#41901-12-60000 TO NORTHWEST PIPELINE LLC FOR INSTALLATION
OF AN ANTICORROSION FACILITY
WHEREAS,Mason County Public Works is the owner of the real property acquired under Auditor's
File No: 111138,identified by the real property tax parcel number is 41901-12-60000, and described
as follows:
All that portion of Government Lot 1, Section 1, Township 19 North, Range 4 West
W.M.,which lies North of the Northerly right of way line of the County road as the same
is now constructed in use over and across said Government Lot 1, excepting therefrom,
however, a strip of land 50 feet in width being 25 feet on each side of the center line of
the Shelton Southwestern Railway Company's former right of way.
WHEREAS,the property was acquired for the road department for use as a rock pit in 1945; and,
WHEREAS,there is a proposal/request for a temporary and permanent easement on the real property
by NW Pipeline LLC for installation of an anticorrosion facility for the adjacent gas pipeline; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that the permanent and temporary
easement grants are in the best interest to the County,as authorized by Mason County Code 3.40,shall be granted.
Recommended final selling prices are to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Mason County Board of Commissioners
hereby approves the request for both temporary and permanent easements and authorizes the final selling
price of$1,800 for the easements.
