Monday, September 26,2011 8:30 A.M. Public Health Department—Vicki Kirkpatrick Commissioners Ring Erickson and Sheldon were in attendance. The following items were reviewed: • Hood Canal Coordinating Council—Staff presented the Commissioners a packet of information from the September 21"meeting. Debbie will not be able to attend the October 19`h HCCC meeting. • Filling EHS 3 Position—Staff briefed Commissioners on the recruitment to fill vacant EHS 3 Position. Final interview is today. • Housing Contracts—Staff briefed Commissioners on planned changes to the housing contracts for 2012 as well as planned audits on existing contracts for 2011. 8:45 A.M. Community Development—Barbara Adkins Commissioners Ring Erickson and Sheldon were in attendance. The following items were reviewed: • Mason County Citizen Advisory Committee for the Shoreline Master Program. Place on Board's October 4,2011 Action Agenda the appointment of Paul Muldoon to the Citizen Advisory Committee for the Shoreline Master Program update. Mr.Muldoon will be replacing Eileen Bailey who resigned her position. The Board had no specific questions or comments. 9:00 A.M. Utilities&Waste Management—Emmett Dobey Commissioners Ring Erickson and Sheldon were in attendance. The following items were reviewed: • Received authorization to amend the Board of Equalization budget by$20,000 due to an increased amount of hearings. This will be a budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance. • Builders Risk insurance for the Belfair Sewer project will be on the October 4 agenda. The premium is$9,000. 9:10 A.M. Executive Session—RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)—Potential Litigation Commissioners Ring Erickson and Sheldon met with Emmett Dobey and Tim Whitehead, Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, in Executive Session from 9:10 a.m.to 9:30 a.m,to discuss potential litigation. 9:30 A.M. Commissioner District No. 3 Interviews Cmmr. Ring Erickson and Cmmr.
