Melvin&Jeanette Hohn, Appellants, were not present at the hearing. Assessor Patti McLean was present. The Appellant noted on the petition that the building is a 43-year-old double-wide trailer. The Assessor stated that mobile homes/manufactured homes are the new affordable housing which are selling at a higher price. The Assessor presented three comparable sales ranging in value from $149,775 to $251,701. The value of the subject parcel falls within this range. The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error. Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $72,325 and improvements at $119,570 for a total of $191,895 for the subject parcel.
