This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Lauri Hurst, Appellant, was present at the hearing. Assessor Patti McLean was present.
The Appellant testified that unkempt property surrounding the subject parcel was the reason for the appeal.
The Assessor recommended that adjustments should be made to the value of the shop, which had a lower
economic factor than the manufactured home.
The Assessor presented four comparable sales from 2022 and 2023 ranging in value from $390,355 to
$462,350. The value of the subject parcel falls within this range.
Following the Assessor's recommendation, the Board made the above adjustments setting the value for the
land at$65,500 and improvements at$340,485 for a total of$405,985 for the subject parcel.
