MARTIN LVTHER KING DAY
WHEREAS, on April 22, 1885, the Washington State Legislature
passed House bill No. 222, an "Act Relating to Legal Holidays";
WHEREAS, the employees represented by Unions have negotiated
Martin Luther King Day, the third Monday of January, as a paid
ho|iday `
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the third Monday of January be
no|obratod as thn anniveroary of 1ho hirth of Martin Luthor King, Jr'
and shall he a paid holiday for all Mason County employees.
