WHEREAS, Mason County is applying to lane State of Washington for a ChamsmosrlIoy
Development. Block Grant.; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that. certain conditions, be met. ae part et_ the
ication requirements; and
WHEREAS, Mason County shall agree to comply Atli all applicable federal ond
state regulations in the, event. that this application is selected for funding, and
that the. Board of Mason County. Commissioners is authorized to submdt this
application to the State of Washington on behalf of Mason County;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, Mason County will cowly with
applicable federal and state regulations in regard to enviromealthl impact of the
project
Mason County has provided citizens ulth the. opportunity to comment on the
Community Development. Block Grant Application for completion of contruction and
remdel of the Mason County Senior Activities Association building and. the
estimated cost of the project in relation to the activities planned to benefit, low
and moderate income persons;
Mason County will Mnimdze displacement. as a result of activities assisted
with CPIS funds; and assist persons actually displaced as a result of such
activities;
Mason County will conduct and adairdnbar its program in conformance with
Title Vi and Title VIII, and affirmatively further fair housing;
Mason County will provide opportunes for citizen participation comparable
to the state's requirements (those described in Section 104(a)(2d)(3) of the Act,
as amended);
Mason County' All not use assessments or fees to recover the csapit0 costs of
CDBG funded public improvements from low and moderate income owner occupants;
Mason County has complied with all Alio hearing requirements and will
certify to tnis compliance; and
