Financial Participation with the City of Shelton for the Wallace BoulevardRESOLUTION 129-91 FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION WITH THE CITY OF SHELTON FOR THE WALLACE BOULEVARD (JOHN'S PRAIRIE Extension TO SR 101). WHEREAS, as the City of Shelton has become the lead agency in a multi -jurisdictional road construction project; and, WHEREAS, as said road construction project begins at the City Limits on the John's Prairie Road and travels in a southwesterly direction to State Route 101 at the third entrance to the City of Shelton; and, WHEREAS, as this road, when completed in 1993, will be of benefit to all citizens of Mason County, as well as the County's traveling public that use the McReavy Road, McEwan Prairie Road, Brockdale Road and Johns Prairie Road with the intent to access State Route 101; and, WHEREAS, because of the direct benefits to Mason County, the Board of County Commissioners finds that financial participation toward the project is warranted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, under the authority provided in RCW 36.75, the Board of County Commissioners shall participate in this project in the amount of $100,000, including Mason County's Department of Public Works' "in kind" service for right-of-way acquisition assistance to the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby direct the Director of Public Works to prepare the proper voucher(s) for the Commissioners' approval to make said payment(s) to the City of Shelton.
