Under the requirements of Mason County Stormwater Ordinance, either private ditches and drains will meet requirements of the stormwater ordinance or prior approval will be granted to use an existing utility and drainage easement dedicated for that specific purpose. During the demolition process, if any material(s) are discovered that was not previously sampled,demolition must stop and the discovered material(s)must be sampled and proven to be non-containing for asbestos. If the sampling results in additional asbestos material before demolition can resume you must contact a Certified Asbestos Company to remove the material. All materials that have been removed has been properly disposed in an EPA approved landfill and fully documented.
