ORDINANCE NO® 137A-92
IN THE MATTER OF:
AN ORDINANCE TO PROMOTE THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES IN MASON
COUNTY BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES PERSONAL HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION
THROUGH COLLECTION OF FEES RELATED TO PROVISION OF MEDICATIONS, VACCINES, AND
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the Division of Personal Health Services provides a variety of
medications, vaccines, and services for the protection of Public Health in
Mason County, and
WHEREAS, many of the medications, vaccines, and services provided by the
Division of Personal Health Services are mandated by state law, and
WHEREAS, all medications, vaccines, an services provided by the Division of
Personal Health Services have been determined by the Mason County Board of
Health to be beneficial to the residents of Mason County, and
WHEREAS, the provision of medications, vaccines, and services requires the
collection of fees to compliment other sources of revenue, and
WHEREAS, the fees established herein are necessary in order to maintain the
present level of service offered by the Division of Personal Health Services,
and
WHEREAS, the Mason County Board of Health recommended adoption of the fees
established herein, and
WHEREAS, the Mason County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on
December 22, 1992 for the purpose of taking public testimony and to
deliberate on action to be taken concerning the fees established herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED, that the Mason County Board of
Commissioners hereby adopts the fees established herein.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effective this date.
