AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 41-93
TO CORRECT TITLES & SALARIES IN
IN THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
NON-UNION SALARY SCHEDULE 1993
WHEREAS, RCW 36.16.070 states that "...In all cases where the duties of any
county office are greater than can be performed by the person elected to fill it, the officer
may employ deputies and other necessary employees with the consent of the Board of
County Commissioners. The Board shall fix their compensation......
WHEREAS, RCW 36.40.080 states that "...the Board of County Commissioners
shall fix and determine each item of the budget separately and shall by resolution adopt
the budget......
WHEREAS, the fixing of non-union salaries are an integral part of the budgeting
process.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners had a classification and Salary
Study completed for non-union positions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners
does hereby amend Resolution 146-92 and does hereby approve;
(1) A three percent (3%) increase in salary for all non-union employees for the
calendar year 1993, effective January 1, 1993.
(2) The non-union salary range alignment schedule, affixed hereto as Attachment
A is approved and adopted.
(3) The 1993 salary plan affixed hereto as Attachment B is approved and adopted.
(4) The Board recognizes that all non-union employees paid lesser amounts than
Step A in the 1992 salary plan, affixed hereto as Attachment C, deserve payments in the
amounts listed in the 1993 salary plan Step A for the calendar year 1993. The Board
approves and adopts those salaries listed in the 1993 salary plan Step A for the calendar
year 1993.
(5) The non-union salary schedule for non-union positions during the calendar
year 1993, affixed hereto as Attachment D, is hereby approved and adopted.
