AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 140-93
TO ADD CLINICAL NURSE, HYDRAULICS ENGINEER,
AND TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR JOB CLASSIFICATIONS
TO THE NON UNION SALARY SCHEDULE
NON UNION SALARY SCHEDULE
1994
WHEREAS, RC W 36.16.070 states that"In all cases where the duties of any county
office are greater than can be performed by the person elected to fill it, the officer may
employ deputies and other necessary employees with the consent of the Board of County
Commissioners. The Board shall fix their compensation....."
WHEREAS, RCW 36.40.080 states that "...the Board of County Commissioners
shall fix and determine each item of the budget separately and shall by resolution adopt
the budget...."
WHEREAS, the fixing of non-union salaries are an integral part of the budgeting
process.
WHEREAS, Mason County has a need for the following non union job
classifications: Clinical Nurse, Hydraulics Engineer and Technical Administrator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
does hereby approve the Clinical Nurse, Hydraulics Engineer and Technical Administrator
job classifications; and the addition of those job classifications to the Mason County Non
Union Salary Schedule and the Non Union Salary Range Alignment (Attachment A).
