This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
The Appellants were represented by John Bartol at the hearing. IdaMae Jensen, Assessor's Representative,
was present.
The Appellant questioned the use of the four comparable sales used by the Assessor's Representative.
These sales ranged in value from $943,568 to $1,522,460. The value of the subject property fell within this
range. The Appellant provided no comparable sales to support his estimate of value.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $207,000 and improvements at $806,025 for a total of
$1,013,025 for the subject parcel.
