Mason County and City of Shelton Funding Distribution Agreement Mason County Resolution No. ,) •el l City of Shelton Resolution No. 1, >G�-C99 7 MASON COUNTY AND CITY OF SHELTON FUNDING DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Shelton and Mason County have chosen to participate in Growth Management efforts as mandated by the State of Washington through the Growth Management Act of 1990; and WHEREAS, the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development(DCTED)has chosen to provide incentive grants for counties and cities to complete, improve, refine, or implement specific GMA products: and WHEREAS, The City of Shelton and Mason County are eligible for these funds but only for work that brings them into compliance; and WHEREAS, The City of Shelton and Mason County have mutually determined that grant funds will be disbursed on a modified per capita basis equivalent to the city's proportion of total county population plus allowance for joint planning responsibilities within the Shelton Urban Growth Area; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Shelton Commission and the Mason County Board of Commissioners that, based of 1997 population estimates from OFM, the City of Shelton's total proportion of Growth Management Incentive Grant funding for state fiscal years 1997 and 1998, shall amount to 19.32% of the funds allocated for Mason County and its municipalities (as per the example and formula's attached as Exhibit A).
