1997 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS,by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making the budget for the year 1997, it is necessary to make provision for
supplemental appropriations to the budget as required by RCW 36.40.100, due to the
following: A WA State Department of Ecology grant and private contributions for agautic
weed management at Lake Limerick,a Displaced Timber Workers grant for storm cleanup
in Parks, a Squaxin Island Tribe community contribution for equipment, and additonal
funds from the Department of Agriculture for Convention Center/Fairgrounds operating
expenses.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners:
That the 15th day of July, 1997 at the hour of 9:15 a.m. in the Mason County
Commission Chambers, at Courthouse Building 1, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton,
Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter
of the supplemental appropriations to the budget as follows:

Current Expense/Parks $24,921
Current Expense/Sheriff $12,452
Convention Center/Fairgrounds $15,265
The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to
cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law.
