Amending Res 114-96 to Increase Change Funds for Building and EH Depts RESOLUTION NO. 10-97 AMENDING RESOLUTION 114-96 TO INCREASE CHANGE FUNDS FOR BUILDING ENVIRONMZNTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS TO TWO EACH. WHEREAS, Resolution 132-85 established change funds for the Building and Environmental Health Departments; WHEREAS, Resolution 114-96 increased change funds for the Building and Environmental Health Departments, to $100 . 00 (one hundred dollars) change for each department; WHEREAS, there is currently a need for a second cash box for Building and Environmental Health Departments of $100 . 00 (one hundred dollars) change for each department; NOW THEREFORE, The Board of Mason County Commissioners, does hereby approve increasing the number of cash boxes for the Building Department and the Environmental Health Department to two cash boxes of $100 . 00 (one hundred dollars) for the Building Department and the Environmental Health Department. A JOINT RESOLUTION of the Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason and Kitsap Counties Board of County Commissioners appointing a member to represent the 35th Legislative District in the Washington State Senate. WHEREAS, a Vacancy has been created in the 35th Legislative District in the Washington State Senate; and WHEREAS, the 35th Legislative District is a joint Legislative District located I - partly in Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason and Kitsap Counties, and the Washington State Constitution, Article 11, Section 15, provides in such cases that the vacancy be filled by joint action of the legislative bodies of the four counties; and WHEREAS, the Washington State Democratic Central Committee has submitted three nominees for the Senate vacancy; and WHEREAS, the combined legislative bodies met in a joint session and interviewed the nominees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THURSTON, GRAYS HARBOR, MASON AND KITSAP COUNTIES as follows: Section 1: Lena Swanson is one of the three nominees submitted by the Washington State Democratic Central Committee, and is qualified to fill the Senate vacancy.
